Following publication, concerns were raised regarding the images in the article. When asked to comment, the authors stated that much of the data underlying the results in the article had been lost. The authors provided the available original data for the article on request. A review of this data raised further concerns about the integrity of the Western blot images. As the concerns raised can not be addressed due to data loss and further concerns were identified in the available data underlying the article, the reliability of the findings presented in the article can not be guaranteed and the article is being retracted.
